Went to join a gathering of Kerry supporters protesting in front of the Beverly Hills Country Club (http://www.beverlyhillscc.com/) at the appearance of John O'Neill on his book signing tour for his slanderous work entitled, "Unfit For Command".

First of all, let me say that I am not suited for street protests and all that accompanies the chanting and yelling of slogans. My voice almost immediately gave out and as I strained to yell "Kerry is a hee-row", my voice cracked rather embarrasingly. At one point I ended up shouting at a woman exiting the book signing with a deeply theatrical sounding intonation as I squeeked out, "Shame on you!" It was heated and wrought with smirky out-doing-each-otherness that I found unpleasant. O'Neill is a true bastard, a hired hitman, a Nixonian era goon better left hidden instead of at the limelight of current politics. I blame Karl Rove for all this. Smear campaigns are his game.
